Once you are approved as a Roadie driver, download the Roadie driver app from the App store or Google Play.
Following are the steps to accept a Roadie delivery job:
• Log in to the driver app.
• On the main screen, open the map to find delivery offers in the form of Pins.
• Each pin represents a pickup location.
• Tap the pin to view the pickup location.
• Then tap again to learn the delivery details:
- You'll find important information like item dimensions, pickup and delivery instructions, and overall delivery distance.
- You will also see the delivery fees paid.
Please note: Ensure that the goods to be sent are suitable for the vehicle you are using before deciding to accept the job.
• Then tap "Send" to let them know you're interested and available. You'll be notified in 15 minutes if the delivery is yours.
• Tap 'Start' to begin.
You will be notified of the pickup address and will share contact information for your contact at pickup, as well as any special notes you should be aware of before you arrive at the pickup location.
• Ensure that you follow all instructions upon pickup and mark your arrival on the driver's app. Then, you're ready to go!
• Once you arrive, use the app to mark that you have arrived at the delivery location.
• Read the delivery note to see if there are any special instructions for delivery. Make sure to take a photo and mark where you left the items on the driver's app. Some deliveries may also require the recipient's signature.
