Driving with Roadie

Being a Roadie driver, you are your own boss. You are free to set your own working hours while Driving with Roadie. 

You will earn income from the rate of each delivery you complete. Rates are usually determined by distance, delivery time, etc. You'll earn an average of $12 per trip for local deliveries, and even more for multi-stop deliveries.

Roadie driver earnings are determined by several factors, including:

• Cost per Mile: Roadie pays drivers based on the distance of the delivery.
• Cost per Hour: Drivers are also paid based on the time of delivery.
• Additional fees are added for deliveries that require special attention.

To increase your income, complete more deliveries. The income of a Roadie driver is determined by the number of deliveries you complete.

Website

Follow the steps:

• Go to the Roadie website
• Complete the registration form on the main screen, including: Your full name, email, and mobile number.
• Upload required documents (driver's license, ID card, proof of insurance).
• Fill in vehicle information (type, year, license plate).
• Agree to the driver agreement.
• Wait for the verification process (1-3 business days).
• Activate your account and start receiving orders.

Roadie App

Follow these steps:

• Download the Roadie Driver app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Open the App, Tap 'sign up driver'.
• Create an account by filling out the registration form.
• Upload required documents (driver's license, ID card, proof of insurance).
• Fill in vehicle information (type, year, license plate).
• Agree to the driver agreement.
• Wait for the verification process (1-3 business days).
• Activate your account and start receiving orders.

Roadie driver requirements

Before you sign up for a Roadie driver, Meet the following requirements:

• At least 18 years old.
• Have a valid and current driver's license in the United States.
• Have a social security number.
• Have a vehicle that meets Roadie standards.
• Have a compatible mobile device (iOS or Android).
• Have a bank account to receive payments.

Required Documents:

• Valid driver's license.
• ID.
• Proof of vehicle insurance.
• Photo of vehicle.
• Bank information for payment

Roadie vehicle requirements

Here are the vehicle requirements to become a Roadie driver:

• Vehicle Type

• Passenger car (sedan, SUV, minivan).
• Small truck (pick-up, van).
• Small commercial vehicle (box truck).

• General Requirements

• Vehicle year 2000 or newer.
• Vehicle in good condition and well maintained.
• Has functioning air conditioning.
• Has glass that is not cracked or damaged.
• Has good tires and sufficient air pressure.
• Has a functioning safety system (airbags, seat belts).
• Has valid vehicle insurance.

• Specific Requirements

#1. Passenger car:

• Capacity 4-8 passengers
• Minimum cargo space 20 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches high

#2. Small truck:

• Minimum cargo capacity 4-6 feet.
• Maximum cargo height 6 feet.

#3. Small commercial vehicle:

• Minimum cargo capacity 10-12 feet
• Maximum cargo height 8 feet

• Photo of the vehicle from the front, rear, and sides

• Proof of vehicle insurance

• Proof of vehicle inspection (if required)

• Vehicle information (year, make, model, license plate)

• Rejection Criteria

• Vehicle in poor condition.

• Vehicle does not have insurance.

• Vehicle does not meet safety standards.

• Vehicle has structural damage.

• Vehicle does not have valid documents.

Your job as a Roadie driver will involve delivering a variety of goods, including:

• Delivery Category

• Small packages: Documents, gifts and other small packages.
• Large items: Furniture, furnishings and other large items.
• Food: Delivery of food from restaurants and stores.
• Medicines: Delivery of medicines and health products.
• Pets: Pet delivery to destination.

• Maximum weight 100 pounds (45 kg)
• Maximum size 120 inches (304.8 cm) in length, width and height

Please note: the items to be sent will be adjusted to the vehicle you use to drive with Roadie.

How Roadie driver works

Once you are approved as a Roadie driver, download the Roadie driver app from the App store or Google Play.

Following are the steps to accept a Roadie delivery job:

• Log in to the driver app.

• On the main screen, open the map to find delivery offers in the form of Pins.

• Each pin represents a pickup location.

• Tap the pin to view the pickup location. 

• Then tap again to learn the delivery details:

• You'll find important information like item dimensions, pickup and delivery instructions, and overall delivery distance.
• You will also see the delivery fees paid.

Please note: Ensure that the goods to be sent are suitable for the vehicle you are using before deciding to accept the job.

• Then tap "Send" to let them know you're interested and available. You'll be notified in 15 minutes if the delivery is yours.

• Tap 'Start' to begin.

You will be notified of the pickup address and will share contact information for your contact at pickup, as well as any special notes you should be aware of before you arrive at the pickup location.

• Ensure that you follow all instructions upon pickup and mark your arrival on the driver's app. Then, you're ready to go!

• Once you arrive, use the app to mark that you have arrived at the delivery location. 

• Read the delivery note to see if there are any special instructions for delivery. Make sure to take a photo and mark where you left the items on the driver's app. Some deliveries may also require the recipient's signature.

How Roadie pays its driver partners

Roadie pays its drivers through the following payment systems:

Payment Methods

• Direct Deposit: Roadie pays drivers directly into their bank accounts.
• Payment via App (Instant Pay): Drivers can withdraw their funds instantly via the Roadie app.
• Payment via Debit Card: Roadie also offers payment via debit card.

Payment Time

• Daily Payment: Roadie pays drivers daily for completed deliveries.
• Weekly Payment: Payment can also be made on a weekly basis.
• Monthly Payment: For drivers with high delivery volumes.

Payment Requirements

• Driver must complete a successful delivery.

• Driver must have a valid bank account.
