The reasons for Grubhub driver accounts being disabled

Being a Grubhub driver of course you have to comply with the rules that apply. The objective is to prevent your driver account from being blocked or deactivated.

All Grubhub driver partners are subject to the terms of the applicable Driver Partner Agreement, which states that any act or omission that is fraudulent, misleading, or materially impairs Grubhub's business operations constitutes a material breach of the agreement and may result in termination of the agreement.

Account violations are behaviors of driver partners that are associated with fraudulent activities that impact restaurants or restaurant customers.

A number of reasons for account violations, which cause you to be unable to log into your driver account because the account has been deactivated.

Account violations are caused by driver behavior

Scenario 1: Canceling Orders.
Accepting an order initially but then refusing to complete the delivery. It's obvious that this leads to a delayed experience for both the merchant and the customer.

Scenario 2: The act of labeling a merchant as closed when it is not actually closed.
The driver app reports merchants as closed, but in reality, they are open and accepting orders

Scenario 3: The driver does not deliver the order after it has been taken from the merchant or the driver steals the order/goods.

Scenario 4: The driver has caused a delay in picking up or delivering an order that has been accepted for a long time.

Scenario 5: Buying more goods or services that don't match the customer's order listed in the app.

Scenario 6: Disguise your actual location in the driver app.

Scenario 7: Falsifying Delivery times.
Drivers provide false information regarding the arrival at the merchant, order pickup, and delivery times.

Scenario 8: Uploading or providing photos that do not match the customer's order listed in the app.

Scenario 9: Canceling an order incorrectly for the purpose of receiving an incorrect cancellation fee.

Scenario 10: Avoiding ID Scanning.
Continuously failing to scan IDs from customers when making deliveries that require scanning.

Scenario 11: The driver made a conscious decision to mark all shopping items as unavailable to cancel the order and receive payment for delivery.

Scenario 12: Canceling a Purchase After Paying without returning the item and receiving a refund.

Scenario 13: The driver does not return alcohol to the merchant when the order cannot be delivered to the customer.

Scenario 14: Avoiding Drop Off PIN Entry.
The driver did not use the drop-off PIN when requested.

If there is an account violation, you will receive a notification through the driver app and email. You will have the chance to review and acknowledge the violation through the driver app. If 3 violations occur, your account will be blocked and you will not be able to log in to the driver app. Account violations will expire and be removed from your driver account after 90 days.

You can appeal your blocked account, you can reply to the email within seven (7) days with a detailed explanation. You must include supporting documents or photos. All photos must be in .JPEG or .PNG format. Once the review process is completed, you will receive an email with the status of your Grubhub driver account.
